This is the area for where you start the Lady Macdonald East South East ridge alpine route. A pleasant 6-9 hour day involving mostly scrambling with a couple technical easy pitches thrown in,

Getting There

Walk up Cougar Creek until past Cosmology and you see an "island" of trees in the creekbed. Look to your left for a obvious cairn and trail that meanders up into the hillside.
