Description
Remote adventure climbing on the Idaho side of the Bitterroot Mountains in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness
Getting There
Highway 12 between Lewiston and Missoula traverses around the north end of the range, and the extremely remote Macgruder Corridor Road that splits the Selway-Bitterroot and Frank Church wildernesses connects Elk City, ID and Montana's Bitterroot Valley over the southern Bitterroots and Nez Perce Pass. Various forest service dirt roads lead to trailheads into the wilderness off of these roads.
