Permits are required for all boating trips in Labyrinth Canyon. The Moab Field Office is the official public contact point for Labyrinth Canyon information and permits. The approved permit must be in the trip leader's possession while in Labyrinth Canyon and all permit stipulations must be followed.
WET ROCK: Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB IN MOAB during or after rain.
RAPTOR CLOSURES: please be aware of seasonal raptor closures. They occur annually in the spring.

Description
Off the left side of the river, you can usually float a little ways back into this beauty before she runs dry. Another one of the bigger side canyons along the Labyrinth. 1 mile up on the varnished wingate to the left are some beautiful petroglyphs, hard to find unless you walk the cliff line a few hundred feet north of "Man behind the Green Curtain"
