Seasonal bird closures are often in effect in spring and summer. Consult the BMC Regional Access Database at thebmc.co.uk/modules/RAD/ for up to date information. Yellow signs with detailed closure info and painted red hats with arrows demarking closed sections should also be obeyed.
Description
Need an escape from the sun and heat? If the tide is out this may be the answer for you.
The east wall has more approachable grades, with Shape Up being the easiest exit (prusiking aside) at E1. Beware: it has a bit of a bold start, so this is not a good crag for a fledgling E1 leader.
The west wall has many classic hard routes, starting at Bloody Sunday (on the easier side of E4).
For more complete coverage, see UKClimbing
Routes sorted from left to right, with the whole west wall considered to the left of the east wall
