Description Suggest change

The climbing in the San Rafael Desert and Robbers Roost is remote, adventurous and spread out. The area encompasses a large area east of UT 24, north of UT 95 and west of the Glen Recreation Area/Canyonlands National Park. Rock quality varies but includes Entrada towers, Navajo sandstone domes and even some exciting, chossy Mancos shale. Someone with a little exploration could certainly find a slew of new things to climb.

Getting There Suggest change

Access to this area is usually through the Lower San Rafael Road which is located just south of the junction of Goblin Valley State Park. Other access can be from Green River and UT 95.
