Southern Arizona
Southern Arizona is the large west facing slab located 100 yards south (right) of Arizona Dome as viewed from the parking area. Southern Arizona consists of a steep knobby wall with unique sculpted grooves on the lower portion and a low angle slab above the anchors. The "dome" hosts three fun moderate routes. The base is sheltered and remains shadowed until midday.
Getting There
From the parking area for Arizona Dome, after hopping the fence, continue toward Arizona Dome, but before descending into the wash turn south on an old dirt road that heads SW. Follow the dirt road for 100 yds. to rounded 10 ft. high boulder with a large hole through it. From the boulder turn and go east toward a huge brown and black boulder that leans to the south. Scramble around the right side of this boulder and into a narrow corridor below the face.
