Description
This is a great moderate, limestone slab climbing area near the Dead Sea. As of April 2019, there were routes on five different slabs and more than 20 established climbs with room for dozens more. The slab routes are primarily one pitch in length, although there are some multi-pitch routes and one that is purported to be 200 meters long.
Because of its very low elevation (below sea level), consider only visiting during the cooler months. Depending on when you visit, the cliff may be in the shade first thing in the morning.

Getting There
Starting at the intersection of the north-south running road along the east shore of the Dead Sea (Highway 65) and the road toward Kerak (Highway 50):
-Drive 6.1km east on Highway 50 (toward Kerak).
-As you approach the mountains, you'll see a half-dozen large, flat faces on the right side of the road.
-Park in a large pullout on the left (north) side of Highway 50 below the rightmost of a series of slabs.
-The most popular cliff (#5) is basically directly above the parking. Four other sections are a bit further up the road (toward Kerak) from the parking area.
-To reach #5, carefully cross the highway from the parking spot and hike about 300 yards up the open hillside to the base of the obvious slab (about a 10-15 minute hike).
