Description
Oregon's premiere ice climbing destination; Pollalie Falls. A waterfall at around 5k elevation on Mt Hoods NE aspect.
Getting There
Park as for the Tilly Jane hut, near the Cooper Spur Ski area. Take the Cooper Spur skin track (listed as trail #643 on Google Maps) up a couple miles then cut left toward Polallie Creek. We used GPS maps to know where to cut over. The falls are visible from the ridge. We boot packed down to the falls at this point, but alternative approaches are possible that might be easier.
