Description Suggest change

Shan State's first crag. A beautiful wall perched on top of a hill on Lahio's ring road highway. The rock alternates between limestone and pocketed conglomerate. With a variety of angles from slab to overhanging. Tufas, blobs, stalactites, jugs, pockets, crimps, slopers, and the occasional bomber chockstone, the wall has a little bit of everything. Most of the wall is north-facing and gets all (or most) day shade.

Getting There Suggest change

Ask your hotel for transportation options to the crag on ring road, they should be able to arrange a car/truck to take you and pick you up.

Myanmar Adventure Outfitters also offers a lunch + snack + crag pick-up/drop-off. Which costs 20,000 MMK plus an additional 12,500 per person for food.

The crag is located about 15 minutes from downtown Lashio. The pullout is not far after the toll station on Lashio's ring road, here: https://goo.gl/maps/pNJ2PJVG4tL2

A faint trail from the pullout heads up the hill, at the top of the hill the trail trends left and eventually takes you along the base of the wall. The hike up is about 5-10 minutes.
