Description Suggest change

A majority of the problems on the boulder face at least a little south. No shade trees, so makes for a good winter spot, at least until the sun drops below the ridge line. Quality moves make this worth the short hike, even if there are only a few problems on the boulder.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive to the end of Bear Trap Road and park at the trailhead. Take the main trail for a short distance (200m). Keep a lookout on the left for a standalone boulder in a clearing, about 30 meters off the trail. This is the Bear Trap Boulder. If you get to where there are large rocks in the trail (mini-boulders), you've gone too far.
