Description Suggest change

Hidden gem. Interesting problems and tons of oppurtunities for projects. Short hike off the road   No parking issues. Rock is graffitied heavily. Not a bad boulder by any means for an area with minimal boulders. Highly recommend making the trip.  Long pants recommend.

Getting There Suggest change

Located off of Smith Road in Ridge, just west of the William Floyd Parkway. About 1.1 miles south of the intersection of Smith Road and Middle Country Rd. (Route 25), park in a sandy pullout on the right. Hike back along a well established trail and when the trail splits, go left and soon after you will see Turtle Rock. Honestly, the best way to find it is to look at Google Earth.
