Description
This long, sloping cliff band is a different quality of rock than is usually found in the Swazi highland area. This is a morning crag, especially during the summer months. Direct intense sun from noon onward.
Only a few routes bolted, but there is potential. Currently this crag has Swaziland's only bolted "multi-pitch"; a two pitch link-up that goes to the bolted anchors at the highest point of the wall. You can rappel with two 60meter ropes.
Climbers are advised to report their intention to visit the crag beforehand to the rangers by phone at 3344. The rangers are at times nervous about strangers in the forest, especially due to the prevalence of human-caused uncontrolled fires in the winter. Providing them advance notice may help defuse a potential encounter.

Getting There
From Mbabane and the MR3 take MR19 south towards Mhlabanyatsi. Drive approximately 14km. Before you reach the village of Mhlabanyatsi you will begin to climb a winding hill. At the crest of this hill there is a dirt pull-out on the left. This is a forestry road that will be passable, but rough depending on how much rain the area has received. Follow the forestry road down the hill, staying on the main dirt road. Take the third side road on the left and park in a clearing. A 4x4 may be able to get further up the trail. Bushwack through the pines straight up towards the crag.
