Description Suggest change

Little Tryfan is a small but very distinct slab of rock located to the North-East of Tryfan. Access is extremely easy and just a short walk from various car parks. The routes here are often the first routes many beginning trad climbers will try and the lack of commitment (there's an easy walk off from the top) makes it a friendly crag for beginners just acquainting themselves with Welsh rock.

Getting There Suggest change

If driving from Bangor it's best to drive past the Ogwen Cottage parking and the numerous pullouts for Tryfan. Once past these, there will be parking available on the road near the Gwern Gof Uchaf Farm. Walk to the Gwern Gof Uchaf Farm passing through a few sheep gates. Little Tryfan should be easily visible on your right and follow the distinct path to it.
