Description Suggest change

Facing south, this crag offers warm conditions on days when the sun is shining. The slabs to the right hold many pleasant moderates with a short approach. The steeper, blocky stuff to the right is reminiscent of Rifle, with difficulties up to 13c.

This crag dries quickly after a rain, and the left side may even offer shelter during a light rain.

Getting There Suggest change

From the town of Starkenbach, find your way to 171 going west.  Shortly after leaving town you'll enter the Hohewand Tunnel.  Slow down as you get close to exiting it and be ready to turn into a small (room for about 6 vehicles) parking area on the right.  It is about 75m after exiting.  From the east end of this lot hike up the trail for five minutes to the crag and the Dornroschen Sector.  The right fork deposits you in the vicinity of the route Monsunzeit.  The left fork deposits you in the vicinity of Astrix.  Continuing west on this trail takes you to the Inunsien, Zauberlehrling and the Reich der Schwalben Sectors.

See the approach info for Gamswandl and Herbstwind Sectors listed in their links.
