Description
Thank the late Rockport Granite Co. for this beauty. There’s a lot of potential at this quarry. Boulder the clean cut aretes, toprope from the quarry ties, or discover the adventure trad line.
Climbing at Flat Ledge is unique. At its current stage it seems most similar to alpine cragging, minus the long approaches and poor weather. Expect solitude, loose rock, dodgy anchors, and sharp edges. A 30m rope works for most climbs as long as you don’t plan on toproping or rappelling.
The foxes really like this quarry. Please do your best to preserve their habitat.
