Description

Small southeast facing wall with mixed trad and sport routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.13a. Afternoon shade after 2pm.

Getting There

From Tom's Place, drive 9.9 miles up Rock Creek Rd. prior to crossing Rock Creek right before the bridge there is a small pullout to the right for parking. On the southwest side of the small dirt pullout, there is an aspen grove where the approach trail is marked with cairns.

Follow the in-cut trail southwest for about 200' and cross a small creek. Cairns lead you up a few small benches up to the Rock Creek pack trail where you will follow that south for less than ~10'. The approach trail continues on the west heading to Starr Wall, look for another set of cairns marking the exit from the pack trail. The top of the wall is visible from the pack trail. Approach time is ~15mins, roughly 400' elev. gain.

Alternatively you can park by the pack station and take the pack trail which may add an additional mile.
