Description
This area is in Sequoia National Park across from the well-known Moro Rock. It contains the Hanging Rock Boulder. It has an amazing view of the area with a single boulder on a granite shelf just hanging out.
Getting There
Follow the Moro Rock Trail from the Tree Museum in Sequoia NP, and there should be a turn off sign about 1 mile down the trail that says Hanging Rock .1 miles. Follow this until you come across a boulder that looks like it is just about to fall of the side of the mountain (that's the hanging rock).
