Description
The Rhino Boulders are a collection of 3 separate boulders totaling 12 routes. The closest boulder to the trail, the Rhino Chin Boulder, is deeply shaded while the other two, the Rock Candy Boulder and the Black Slabbath Boulder, are decently exposed and in the boulderfield. The This area was only recently discovered but contains a few gems. The rock quality of the the Rhino Chin boulder is exceptional, and while the others are good too, they can't compete with the Rhino Chin Boulder.

Getting There
From the parking lot, take the trail where all of the signs are. Once the trail meets back up with the road, turn left in order to cross the bridge. Immediately after the bridge, turn right and follow the main trail. Continue up the obvious trail and up a few switchbacks for about 15-20 minutes until you see a Talus field. Climb over a few logs towards the talus field, and the first boulder is the Rhino Chin Boulder, in a private cove that stays cool on hot days.
If you go 10 or so feet uphill from the Rhino Chin route, it is easy to step onto the Rhino Chin Boulder. From here, the boulder straight ahead about thirty feet is the Black Slabbath Boulder, and the the one a bit uphill to the right is the Rock Candy Boulder.
NOTE: The trail shown in Mountain Project Maps is somewhat misleading.
