Description Suggest change

The name is very ironic. Hell's Hole is another basin north of Mount Evans proper with boulders, waterfalls, and a perfect sub-alpine setting. This area was developed in 2007 after the scouring of all the gems within the other valleys on Evans. The approach is long enough to make you question the worthiness of the area, but the setting and problems area amazing.

Getting There Suggest change

It is located approximately 3.5 miles up along the West Chicago Creek Trailhead (Laying In Wait Boulder). Head east (off trail) into the eastern side of the basin to Hell's Hole approximately 400 yards.
