Access Issue: RAIN & WET ROCK
Details
Stoney Point sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Holds rip off and climbs have been and will continue to be permanently damaged due to climbers not respecting this phenomenon. After a heavy storm the rock will remain wet, sometimes for several days. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB during or after rain. A good rule of thumb is that if the ground near your climb is at all damp (and not powdery dry sand), then do not climb. There are many gyms in the area if you need a fix!
Description
Four top rope climbs sitting next to the intersection of the 118 east on ramp and Topanga Cyn Blvd. The crag itself sits on top of the Old Topanga Cyn Blvd
Getting There
Drive north along Topanga Cyn past Santa Susana Pass until the parking area becomes open again. From there find a path to work your way off the road. If approached from the back of the wall, an old bolt ladder can be climbed to get to the top. If approached from Old Topanga Cyn, there is a scramble tucked in between two of the rocks.
