Description
The main wall at The Getaway was bolted by Porter Jarrard and Chris Martin in 1998 while renewed interest in the 2000s produced a few more lines on the left side.
Getting There
Park in the Flat Hollow parking lot and hike up the gravel road (this road is on the right side as you enter the parking lot). Follow the road uphill and when the road switchbacks to the left, look for a wooden sign for The Getaway. The trail starts just left of the road and curves around to the right. Follow the trail around the corner and keep an eye out for rock on the right. This trail comes very close to The Getaway main wall and the final approach trail is only a few steps off of the main trail.
