Many ice climbs can be found here in two valleys a short distance on SR47 from Cogne.

There is also a new edition of Alpine Ice: Volume 1 Western Alps: cordee.co.uk/Alpine-Ice%3A-Vol... which covers a huge swathe of the Alps and has the classics in the area.
