Rist Canyon is just to the west of the city of Laporte. It holds a good amount of rock right off the road, especially in the lower canyon. The rock is all granite, but the quality varies.

Getting There Suggest change

Head to the city of Laporte (NW of Fort Collins), and take Rist Canyon Road into the foothills.
