Description
This is an area just off the road at the beginning of the canyon that houses a decent amount of boulders. This area is usually sunny and has an incredibly quick approach from the car.
Getting There
From Grand Junction, take US Highway 50 South until you reach the Dominguez/Escalante Road (the same as the crack climbing). Turn West here, and drive down the road until it curves left a bit, and begin looking for smaller rock formations to appear. Just before the road heads significantly downhill are the main boulders on the left side of the road. Park at the top of the hill, and work your way over the 1 minute approach to reach the first cave formation known as "The Heroin Cave".
