Description

The main climbing wall area is sunny and usually sheltered from the wind. Most climbs are about 50-70 ft here. This place has great fishing as well so bring a pole, some locals told me about this place when I was at the climbing gym in Kingston. Has some sport routes but mostly trad climbing I will try and get pictures and routes next time I am there, it may be too cold to climb on my next visit. There are other walls and areas to climb here and will explore more.

Getting There

Most climbers will be accessing the cliff via the main Kingston highway, the # 401. Exit at the, Montreal St./ Battersea Road exit, (which is at the 619 Km point of the 401). Go north on Battersea Road (HW #11) for 1 km then turn right onto HW #21 also known as Kingston Mills Road. 2 km along Kingston Mills Road there is a pulloff on the right, (just before the locks) pay and park there, take the trail down to the water, then turn right along the water, to access the cliffs.
Park at the HW #21 lot, the fee I think, is just a couple of dollars. You should fill this out before climbing it is a waiver for the mills area.
