Description
The Dschungelbuch is the large sport climbing crag located on the left side of the Martinswand massif. This is a complex face, with various approaches, parkings, and hazards.
This crag is truly local to Innsbruck, and can be approached in thirty minutes via bike from Innsbruck Zentrum, or in less than 10 with a car.
The climbing here has proved to be ferociously fingery, tending towards bouldery, and highly polished, but with gorgeous movement. You will fall on the grade you usually warm up on, but once you understand the nuance of the rock and develop the finger strength required, the Dschungelbuch will lend you its secrets.
