Description Suggest change

This area is mostly undevelopped, but there's opportunity for a good density of routes at all grades. I'm adding the bouders that I've found, there are many more waiting of enthusiastic first ascentionists. The creekside setting and non existant approach make the area applealing. The mossy rock, abundant litter, and (sometimes) watery landings leave something to be desired.

The nature of the area means that almost all routes will be wet or underwater all seasons except summer.

Camping is available for free(?) on pull outs along the road as well as at several established camp sites. The area sees use from locals who come to fish and pan for gold, they are a strange bunch but interactions have been positive so far.

Getting There Suggest change

Most climbs are right off the road. Follow GPS coordinates, but be warned there is no cell service in the canyon.
