Description Suggest change

Best in the morning due to the cliffs facing west. Sun beats down on the cliff in the afternoon but may be nice on a cool afternoon. Stunning veiw from both the top and base of the crag. Can be busy on weekend with its close proximity to Melbourne and only being a small crag it can be frustrating when guide groups have toperopes set up on i climb you are looking at projecting. Good solid conglomerate rock. Due to large amounts of loose rock it is almost an unspoken rule to not where a helmet and those who don't are frowned upon serverly. There are solid anchors cemented in the top of the cliff by parks Victoria. Slinging of trees is outlawed and those cought by a parks vic ranger can be heavily fined.

Getting There Suggest change

Enter via Ingliston Rd from either Bacus marsh or Ballan. From ironbark car park it is about a 25 minute walk at a moderate pace. The track is quite rough with lots of steep up and down hills.
