Description Suggest change

The East Gully is climbable all year, best late winter, early spring. A short hike on a good trail gets you to the start of the climb. 5,900' elevation gain, more or less, if you go all the way to West Peak.

From the trailhead, hike .3 miles to an intersection, turn right toward Jobs Peak ranch. Hike another .3 miles to another intersection and bear right. Look for a faint path approx. 100' past this intersection, on the left.

Climb the gully to the east peak and continue along the east ridge to the summit.

Getting There Suggest change

The approach for the East Gully route is short, and on public property. From Minden, NV., take route 88, 6.5 miles, to route 206 (Fairview Lane). Turn right on 206 and drive another 1.7 miles to Faye Luther trailhead, on the left.
