Silver Reef

Utah > Southwest Utah > Saint George

Description

A small area with hueco sandstone holds similar to Namaste in Zion. Most walls are between 30 and 50 feet and bolted for top-rope.

Getting There

Drive West, past the town of Silver Reef, you're find Forest Road 32. The crag is just a mile, North, up this road at a gravel parking lot.

[Hide Comment] Massive rope drag. There are anchors but they are for rappelling. looks like someone set this up for rap training. I setup a 6ft extension on the middle route and it was still not enough to get the rope out over the edge. Cool area but not very TR friendly without some creative anchors to protect the rope and the sandstone from getting rope cuts. May 15, 2020
