Access Issue: CURRENTLY CLOSED. An archeological excavation is being performed on the premises of the crag, as of 2022 there is no exact date when the crag will reopen. A climbers coalition is in talks with the municipality so this beloved crag is not closed permanently. Please refrain from climbing.

The money goes towards a good cause keeping the area clean and usable. The people are super nice.
Description
Crag with sport routes and some crack climbing routes, you'll find around 80+ routes divided into several areas, grades range from 5.8 to 5.12+, the whole area has a good variety of climbing styles, from super technical routes to overhang pump-fest, an ideal spot for anyone who wants to sport climb around Bogota. There aren't many routes with big runnouts, this is not like suesca, the gradings is very consistent with many zones in the US. Remember to be kind/respectful with the owners and to finish climbing before 5-5:30pm during the weekends.
Getting There
From down town Bogota hop on the Transmelenio bus to El Portal Norte. At the Portal Norte ask for the municipal bus to Tocancipa. When you arrive in Tocancipa head to the main park and ask for the bus to the Zipa climbing area. You should see some climbers waiting around especially if it is the weekend.
