Description
Box Canyon is located across the road from Cox Hollow. A smaller, but higher rimmed canyon walls are found here compared to Cox Hollow. This area also known for its warmer weather bouldering potential, if you are into that kinda thing. The back of the canyon is easily found if you walk for about 7 minutes to where the main flow is located.
Getting There
Box Canyon has its own parking lot, although it is not plowed in the winter time. Simply park in the Eenie Point/Cox Hollow parking lot.
Take your first right when entering the park and follow the windy road to the bottom of the hill. Once you see the large rock formation known as Eenie Point, park in the lot across the street from it. To get into Box canyon, walk across the road from the parking lot and into the canyon.
