Description
The bottom half of the North Island is not know for its rock climbing, but the people here have to have something to climb. The fact that you often see Wellingtonians climbing at Froggatt in the Waikato (6 hours drive away tells you something). Having said all that their are some undiscovered gems if you find yourself in the area. The highlight is probably the bouldering at Baring head and Turakirae Head.
