There are many great places to ice climb in the Shenandoah Valley; however, the ice climbing "community" is very discreet and quite reserved about disclosing the specific locations of the more reliable routes and hidden gems.

This page will serve as a means for local, winter-minded climbers to connect and share route beta and conditions with each other.

Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway cover a significant portion of this area, and both are filled with great ice potential.
