Description for Fleischbank
Fleischbank is a major summit in the Wilder Kaiser with a variety of routes, some historical.
The long East Wall was first ascended by Hans Dülfer and W. Schaarschmidt in 1912 (!!).
The first ascent of the formation was the "normal way" (Normalweg) done in 1886 which is also used for descent.
Via Classica and the North Ridge are commonly done popular routes.
Also known are long, most difficult routes.
With nearly 100 routes, there's no shortage of "fun" to be had on this venue-rich peak.
