Description

A cluster of large granite erratics in the middle of the forest.

In 1991 these boulders became home to an archaeological site that unearthed the skeletal remains of a 4000-year-old man dating back between 500-2300 BC.

The area is now a semi-popular tourist destination, and home to several clean, aesthetic, and interesting boulder problems. The problems range from easy warm-up traverses to demanding overhanging granite crimping.

Getting There

From Esperanza take PR-997 east until a large opening to a dirt road heading inland is reached (at 18.105850, -65.457617). Turn onto this road and continue until you come to a cluster of large boulders in the woods.
