Description Suggest change

Kinsman Cliffs Area is home to four crags: 1) Mininomee-Micronomee, 2) Waternomee Wall, 3) Beaver Cliff and 4) Upper Kinsman Cliffs.

These are accessed from a climber's path that starts at a "bootleg camping area" which is off the Appalachian Trail (Beaver Brook Trail) about a 1/4 mile south of the paved parking lot ($3 fee or a pass for parking).

Getting There Suggest change

Specific directions are soon to appear in the new guidebook.

For those wishing to explore, the following may work: From the parking lot walk south on the AT about 1/4 mile. A few minutes hiking past a wooden bridge look for a path to the right that leads to old (bootleg) campsites. From here it's tough to describe, but the idea is to move west, descending a little, following the path through boulders, then turn uphill and climb steeply to the cliff(s).
