Description Suggest change

Large boulder fields on the east side of the mountain containing hundreds of boulders in each canyon. It now lies in the Al Ain desert park which is a UNESCO heritage site due to the old stone tombs. Climbing is limited to stones on the hiking trail, and the wadi mentioned here is now out of bounds. The trial stones, however, offer good bouldering. Ask at the manager's office at the entrance gate to the desert park.

Getting There Suggest change

Take Truck Rd through Al Ain. Turn south onto 137th street. Exit west at the third roundabout. Drive west past Oasis International School until you come to a dirt road. Follow that until you reach the base of the mountain.

WARNING. Need a 4x4 car with good clearance.
