Description

Snowshoe Peak is the highest in the Cabinets, at 8,738 ft. and is home to lots of good ice climbing and a couple long alpine rock routes.

Getting There

Take US Highway 2 south for 7 miles from Libby, Montana. Turn right on Bear Creek Road. Go 3 miles and turn right onto Cherry Creek Road. Continue for 4 miles to Leigh Creek Road. Turn right and drive 2 miles to the Leigh Lake Trailhead
