Description
Jagged teeth of limestone over the Walensee lake in St. Gallen. A unique area for relatively easy access to big exposure on long multipitch routes.

There are routes on each of the Churfisten (the plural name for the peaks here), the best rock and best routes are on Zuestoll, one of the central peaks.

Getting There
Easiest approaches are from the back side, driving to Wildhaus. Pay a road tax (10 chf) to drive up a mountain road up to a farming community, where you can park.
Approach is different for each peak, but involves a 1.5-2 hr hike up easy terrain to the ridge, then traversing across the face to the start of the climb, with steep grass or more cliff below.
