Description Suggest change

Rounded, fine-grained granite, much like the Index granite. Small outcrops that are mostly shady, though some crags are exposed to the freeway. Expect some freeway noise. A good place to toprope on granite.

Also, as far as short approaches go, it is hard to beat this place.

Presently, the routes only appear in Darryl Cramer's Sky Valley Rock guidebook. But hopefully, more routes will soon be added here.

Getting There Suggest change

Traveling along I-90 from the west, take Exit 47. Turn left at the junction from the offramp and go back under the freeway. Turn right at the T intersection (onto NF-9034). Drive for a minute and turn left at the first opportunity (NF-5800). Pass some private property on the right and keep a sharp eye out on the left for an wildlife-crossing tunnel under the freeway (you can also see the rock through the trees on the other side of I-90). After you spot the tunnel and the rock, find a place to park off the road and walk back to and through the tunnel. After passing through, you are facing the Fun Forest. Approach time ~ 3 minutes. Another crag is behind the FF, and one is further right.
