Description Suggest change

A gigantic boulder field located in a valley just north and west of White Mountain. A stunning alpine setting at a high enough elevation to keep the temps enjoyable even on the hottest days. There is mind blowing potential here, but it is a very remote area with a long approach. There are hundreds more high quality granite problems that remain undone.

Getting There Suggest change

This boulder filled valley can be easily seen from any point in the general vicinity, though the coordinates to the boulder problem we did are (37.948, -119.321). The young lakes approach to mt.conness will get you in the area of the field, or the saddlebag lake approach to mt.conness, just stay on the main trail instead of taking the cross country route to mt.conness. Approach is roughly 2-6 hours depending on the route you take. the best beta is probably just to enter the coordinates into a gps and follow that.
