Description Suggest change

An outstanding bouldering playground, the Kalmit Felsenmeer ("sea of boulders" on Kalmit) offers well over 100 boulder problems of all difficulties. In addition to a higher concentration of boulders than most other areas, the quality is also arguably better.

For an excellent overview in pdf form (though only in German), please see google.de/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=…

Chalk Suggest change

As has been mentioned earlier: use chalk sparingly! Best is not to use it at all.

Getting There

Suggest change
From the autobahn A65 exit to Maikammer or Edenkoben and follow the Kalmitstraße (the road to Kalmit, which is a peak) and park at the parking lot at the peak - there is sufficient signage. From there, follow the trail near the back and on the left side of the parking lot downhill first, then eventually uphill again to the boulders. Basically, just follow the ridge for 10 minutes, in the opposite direction of the peak of Kalmit.
The GPS coordinates for the parking lot are given here.
