Description

One of the more popular sectors at Peilstein.

More than 40 routes ranging in grade from easy to 5.12+. Many routes considered classic for their grade at Peilstein which also accounts for the polished rock from the high traffic.

The majority of routes are in the 5.7 to 5.10+ range. Climbing is fun on big features with good protection. Harder routes tend to be slabs

West to south exposure. Can be very hot in the summer.

The crag is around 70m high at its tallest. There are a number of multi pitch options.

Getting There

Located approximately in the middle of the Peilstein wall. Sector is behind the Cimone pinnacle and left of the Cimone Coulior.

Around 20 minute hike from the parking lot at Holzschlag, or, 10 minutes from the Peilsteinhaus.

Follow good trails with excellent signs.
