Description

Bald Mountain tops out at 11,943ft. It can be sunny, shady, hot, cold, windy ,snowy, rainy, foggy, and it is always beautiful.

Getting There

From Kamas, Utah follow Highway 150 east for 29 miles to the signed Bald mountain trailhead located at mile marker 29.

[Hide Comment] A bit of info here-I was climbing fairly frequently in this area from the late 80's to the mid 90's. Some of the lines here were led on gear or toproped by myself and others and we weren't the first..there were old pins in place back then-I used to have some of the old LA's from that area (they were mostly painted a strange light greenish color that I've never seen since).

Just a heads up that this area has seen climbing traffic for at least 30 years or more without a lot of development. Feb 23, 2016
