Description Suggest change

Several Cliffs overlook the marshes along the edge of highway 11. South facing, the cliffs have open areas with sunlight, and others that are well shaded. Intermittent rock faces remain to be explored on the way in, and someone has placed bolts on a cliff top shortly along the trai that I have not explored. The best climbing is about 600 yards in, with richly textured rock, with pockets and cracks. There is also some great bouldering to be had on the outside of the canyon area.

Many of the routes here have been climbed by others, so if you know who ran the first ascent, or what these were called, let us know.

Getting There Suggest change

To get here, you must exit at the south end of Gravenhurst, by the big bend on Highway 11. On the east side of the road, across from the MacDonalds, there is a trail, easily found by the marker, that takes you along the top of the cliffs.
