Description

One of the spurs of the Furkapass ridge, Gletschorn provides some Plaisir climbing over the Tiefengletscher with a nice view of Galenstock. The other route of note on here is Enfer Doux, a 6-pitch 5c+ from Frères Remy, and a long, easy climb up the south ridge. Gets sun from 11am on.

Getting There

Same approach as for Graue Wand, but keep hiking up and west. Two monster steinmann (cairns) mark the pass over to the glacier (with the sudgrat route starting on the pass). Hike up the glacier another 30 min to the base of Gletschorn. Crampons would be useful, axe recommended.
