The Hirschman's Pond Area is a nice wooded area right outside of old Nevada City. It has a nice public trail going through it and a few scattered boulders.

Getting There Suggest change

Park in the parking area to your left off of Cement Hill road not even a quarter mile. The Rood Center and jail will be on you right.
