Description

The area shaded year around, as the area is surrounded by large gum trees. Funnel webs are in the area, however, not really a serious issue. While Lindfield is one of Sydney prime boulder spots its not really crowed, however, its kind of normal to have some (friendly) company.
This sandstone cliff is approx. 4-5 m high, mostly vertical, with some overhangs. There is parking, a BBQ and toilets at the Soldiers Memorial Park where the tennis courts are. This area is not too far from the Lindfield train station either.

Getting There

a.) Park at the Lindfield tennis courts (near corner Archbold Road and Tryon Road).
b.) Take the train to Lindfield station & walk down Tryon Rd for 1.2 km. My research assistant Mr. Google says it takes 15 mins.
c.) Or take the bus e.g. 194, 594, 206,207,208,209 and 558 and get off at the Owen Street Stop.

From the tennis court, toilets & BBQ walk down the sign posted foot path, down a couple of steps and you'll arrive at the obvious boulders (chalk marks).
