Description

Lake Alta gives access to the classic East faces of Double and Single cone as well as a number of smaller single and multipitch crags. Sun in the morning and shade in the evening. Day hikers often hike to the lake but do not continue to the crags.

Getting There

Follow signs for the Lake Alta walking track maintained by the DOC to reach the lake.
